Over the memorial day weekend, I have these nighttime dreams about me working at either a fast food restaurant or at Target...I don't know what my nighttime dreams are telling me.

Slept, closed my eyes. Then, I had a dream where I woke up. Got up, brushed my teeth, and ate breakfast. All normal. Then, I realized I was still dreaming. I tried to really wake up, but I couldn't. I was trapped inside a dream of being awake. Confused about what's real, I woke up.

I fell asleep, closed my eyes, then I dreamed that I was waking up, got up, brushed my teeth, had breakfast, everything was normal, then I realized that I was still sleeping, tried to wake up for real, couldn't, got stuck in a lucid dream, didn't understand that I had actually woken up, was confused.

My alarm clock must have gotten tired of making the same sound, and today decided to imitate a rooster crowing "Cock-a-doodle-doo!" It was loud and sudden, and I jumped out of bed in fright, turning off the rooster/alarm clock and waking up earlier than usual.
